A rare vagrant species. This autumn it was observed twice in Odesa region: on October 17 on Luzanivsky beach in Odesa by Yevhen Chernolev, on November 1 in the lower part of the Tнligul estuary, the bird was found by Olena Fomina. 22nd and 23rd observations of the species in Ukraine.

A rare migratory species in Ukraine, in the Crimea it nests irregularly. The second registration in Ukraine during the year (the first meeting on 15.08.2020, one bird was observed by M. Sakh near the village of Kyrylivka, Zaporizhia region).

Regular vagrant species. At least 20 registrations are known, mostly from Odesa region. This year 10 observations: in Odesa region - on September 26 near the village of Chabanka (P. Panchenko), on September 27 in Bilyaivsky forestry near the village of Troitske and on October 3 in the town of Chornomorsk (K. Pylypyuk), on October 7 in the village of Nadlymanske (K. Pylypyuk and Y. Kodrul) October 18 in Odessa (O. Burkovsky); October 4 in the Dnipropetrovsk region in the Samara forest (O. Nastachenko); in the Mykolayiv region on October 10-11 and October 18 in the village of Chornomorka (probably the same bird) and on October 19 near the town of Ochakiv - K. Redinov

The Westernmost observation and the first on the territory of the Right Bank steppe in the nesting season, a brood was observed. Actively settles in the western direction, the nearest known places of regular nesting are in the south of the Kherson region.
