Birds of Northern Eurasia. Rare Birds Records.

	Long-billed Dowitcher (Limnodromus scolopaceus) © Yuriy Kodrul 2021-05-07 Kherson Oblast, Shpindiyar lowering Long-billed Dowitcher (Limnodromus scolopaceus) is a new species in the avifauna of Ukraine. Yuriy Kodrul and Mykola Zmievsky saw the bird in the Shpyndiyar pod ("pod" - gently sloping closed drainless lowering of the relief) in the Kherson region. This North American sandpiper lasted in the place of observation until May 12. O. Sapuga, O. Komarovsky and V. Rudenko also managed to see it. Congrats!

The next morning, another bird was seen by Oleksiy Zolotov in the lower reaches of the Tylihul estuary.
